The Sunday School year for children from 1st through 6th grade is in full swing.   Mrs. Taylor leads the class at 10:20am in the Sunday School room.

Adult Sunday School also continues with Fr. Thierry reviewing the Apostles’ Creed.  This class meets at 10:30am in the rectory basement.

Please remember that next Sunday, November 5th is “FALL BACK” Sunday.  Daylight Savings Time ends early next Sunday morning, so remember to turn your clocks back an hour before you retire Saturday evening.

Starting this week, Fr. Roddy will lead two Bible study sessions each Thursday, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Both classes will begin a study of St. Paul’s Epistle to the Galatians.

Colonel Pat Webb, a member of this parish, is retiring from the Air Force Reserve Nov. 1st after 33 years’ service. She is currently IMA (Individual Mobilization Augmentee) to the Commander of Air Force Safety, on the Air Staff at the Pentagon. Col. Webb was one of the first women to be selected to complete Air Force navigation flight training and has flown a variety of aircraft on reconnaissance, special operations, and tactical missions. During her long career, she has served in the Active Duty, the Air National Guard, and the Air Force Reserve.

Dec. 10: “Wreaths Across America” with parishoners participating in the laying of wreaths at Alexandria National Cemetary
