Our Rector will be with his family in Atlanta, Georgia the week after Christmas through January 7. Please note the following cancellation due to his absence and the holidays.

Weekly Schedule:

Tuesday at Noon – Holy Communion. Canceled 12/30 & 1/6.
Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. – Diaconate Training Studies. Canceled 12/30 & 1/6.
Wednesday at Noon – Holy Communion and anointing for healing. Canceled 12/24, 12/31 & 1/7.
Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. – Bible Study. Canceled 12/24 & 12/31.

Poinsettias for Christmas Display: Please use the detailed form located on the Narthex table if you wish to give poinsettias for our display (in Memory of, or in Thanksgiving for). Please do so by December 21.

The 2015 Ordo Kalendar is available for purchase. Cost: $8.00.

Salvation Army Food Bank: Collection is Sunday, December 21.

Vestry Meeting: Monday, January 19, 7:30 p.m., in the undercroft.

Men’s Bible Study: Saturday, January 17, at 8:30 a.m. in the undercroft, under the cuisine direction of Chef Boy-ar-Crump and the spiritual direction of Fr. John, with Bob Boyd continuing to direct us in discussion.

Decorating the Church for Christmas will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23. Many hands are needed to hang wreaths and arrange greens and poinsettias – also to assemble the crèche, and of course, clean-up. All ages and abilities are welcome to help. Contact May Gould or Jane Taylor for more information.

The Altar Flower chart for 2015 is now posted in the undercroft; please sign up for the Sunday(s) next year on which you would like to provide altar flowers.

Offering Envelopes for 2015 are still available.  You will find them in the Narthex.

Frances E. Keck, our long time devoted member, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the age of 96.  She taught American History for 40 years in Arlington County High Schools and is survived by her brother, J. Edmunds Keck, and his family.  Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
