Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. – Bible Study.

Wednesday at Noon – Holy Communion and anointing for healing.

Sunday School, Grades 1 through 6, at 10:30. Please see Jane Taylor.

Alert: Grounds Work Day Saturday, May 9! Jane Taylor suggests arriving at
9:30 a.m., but feel free to come any time and stay as long as you wish. Bring (and mark) your favorite gardening tools, gloves, hat. Call Jane Taylor at 703-978-6037 with questions or suggestions. Coffee and Donuts? Of course!!

The next Men’s Bible Study will be on Saturday, May 16 at 8:30 a.m. in the undercroft under the cuisine direction of Chef Boy-ar-Crump and the spiritual direction of Fr. John, with Bob Boyd continuing to direct us in discussion.

Salvation Army Food Bank: Collection is Sunday, May 17.

Vestry Meeting: Monday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday Bible Study: We will complete our study of Acts of the Apostles at the end of April. The next study will be St. Paul’s Epistle to the Romans using a commentary by Fr. Lawrence Farley, a former Anglican priest, now Orthodox. This study will begin on 20 May; the cost of the book is $13. Contact Bob Boyd at
703-751-4774 or bobboyd72@aol.com to order a book. There will be two special presentations in the interim. On 6 May, Martha Harris will give a talk based upon her recent book, The Gospel According to…. On 13 May, Jeff Maszal will describe how the canon of Scripture came to be. All are welcome to these presentations whether or not you intend to join the Bible Study.
