Wednesday at Noon – Holy Communion and anointing for healing.

Sunday School for Grades 1 through 6 is at 10:30 a.m.

Salvation Army Food Bank: Food collection is today. Pasta is needed. Also, please see on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall the thank-you letter from Salvation Army for our food donations.

Next Vestry Meeting: Monday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the undercroft.

Next Men’s Bible Study: Saturday, May 21 at 8:30 a.m. in the undercroft.

The Church of the Ascension invites you to a special celebration in honor of our military members’ service to our nation on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 5:30 PM. An honor guard and prayers at the memorial burial site behind the church is followed by Evening Prayer indoors. Highlights are prayers for those who have lost life and limb in present and previous wars, hymns from The Hymnal of 1861, and a reception.

DMAS Summer Camp. The camp (July 10-16, 2016) is open to all children
ages 8-16. The form is on the DMAS website, the DMAS Summer Camp Facebook page, and at the Church Office. The cost of the camp is $275 per camper. Financial aid is available if the parents and/or the parish are not able to pay for their campers. Required is the signed form by the parents and the rector.
The deadline for submitting applications is June 30, 2016.
