Sunday School will resume on September 25, the Sunday after the church picnic, at 10:30 a.m.

Salvation Army Food Bank: Food collection is Sunday, September 18.

Advance Notice: The Annual Picnic is planned for Sunday, September 18, at Fort Hunt Park, VA. We will depart after the 10 o’clock service.
DMAS Women’s Retreat, Sept. 24, 2016, Church of the Ascension. “A Sacred Life” is the theme for this year’s Women’s Retreat. The retreat will include Mass, Lessons, and Evening Prayer. Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. There is no cost, but please register with the Diocesan Secretary, Debbie Weaver,, 703-399-6965.

Animal Allies has great need of food and bedding for its kittens. Please leave your gifts for their kittens in the undercroft, and we will deliver them without delay.
